Every classic V8 is unique, and the Wild Card 2 was designed to adapt. Its customizable firing order setup in the startup wizard ensures compatibility with a wide range of classic 8-cylinder engines. This system requires a 7+1 Hall-effect distributor, providing accurate crank and cam signal synchronization for true sequential injection and precise ignition control.

The Wild Card 2 is available in three configurations to match your build and power goals:

  • Standalone System: Includes ECU, wiring harness, handheld controller, and base sensors, everything you need to get up and running.
  • Top-End Kits: Add an aluminum intake manifold (black, polished, or raw finish), Gambler Series distributor, ignition coil, injectors, throttle body, and fuel rails for a complete top-end upgrade.
  • Master Kits: Includes everything from the Top-End Kit, plus a complete fuel delivery system of your choice for a full carb-to-EFI conversion.

The ECU itself is compatible with injectors up to 500 lb/hr, and scalable for boost up to 315 kPa, giving you headroom for serious horsepower builds. Truly, a system for the people.
  • Self-Learning: Stock-most mild street builds benefit from the self-learning ECU; more aggressive setups can be manually tuned using our free laptop software.
  • Injector Options: Choose between EV1 or EV6 injector harnesses to match your fuel injectors. (Top End & Master Kits come with EV1 by default)

System Integration

The Wild Card 2 connects seamlessly with Dakota Digital clusters using the Aces BIM-01-2-ACES module (sold separately). It outputs a clean tach signal for both factory and classic-style gauges and supports stock or aftermarket gauge systems that don’t rely on CAN data.

If upgrading from a stock or aftermarket EFI that uses CAN for gauge communication, review compatibility before installation.

All Aces ECUs use 32-bit automotive-grade processors, the same spec used by OEMs, not the slower 16-bit industrial chips common elsewhere.

The system runs at 43–60 PSI fuel pressure and supports return or returnless configurations, depending on your pump type. Internally regulated in-tank pumps can run returnless; external, inline, or surge setups require a return line.

System Integration

The Wild Card 2 connects seamlessly with Dakota Digital clusters using the Aces BIM-01-2-ACES module (sold separately). It outputs a clean tach signal for both factory and classic-style gauges and supports stock or aftermarket gauge systems that don’t rely on CAN data.

If upgrading from a stock or aftermarket EFI that uses CAN for gauge communication, review compatibility before installation.

All Aces ECUs use 32-bit automotive-grade processors, the same spec used by OEMs, not the slower 16-bit industrial chips common elsewhere.

The system runs at 43–60 PSI fuel pressure and supports return or returnless configurations, depending on your pump type. Internally regulated in-tank pumps can run returnless; external, inline, or surge setups require a return line.

The Aces Wild Card 2 is a fully customizable, true Sequential Multi-Port EFI (MPEFI) system engineered for classic 8-cylinder engines. Unlike traditional TBI setups or aftermarket systems that use bank-to-bank injection, the Wild Card 2 delivers precise fuel metering to each cylinder, giving you superior throttle response, balanced fuel distribution, and more power across the RPM range.

Total Customization for Your Build

Every classic V8 is unique, and the Wild Card 2 was designed to adapt. Its customizable firing order setup in the startup wizard ensures compatibility with a wide range of classic 8-cylinder engines. This system requires a 7+1 Hall-effect distributor, providing accurate crank and cam signal synchronization for true sequential injection and precise ignition control.

More Than Just EFI - A System Built for Performance

The Wild Card 2 is available in three configurations to match your build and power goals:

  • Standalone System: Includes ECU, wiring harness, handheld controller, and base sensors, everything you need to get up and running.
  • Top-End Kits: Add an aluminum intake manifold (black, polished, or raw finish), Gambler Series distributor, ignition coil, injectors, throttle body, and fuel rails for a complete top-end upgrade.
  • Master Kits: Includes everything from the Top-End Kit, plus a complete fuel delivery system of your choice for a full carb-to-EFI conversion.

Built for Your Needs - Stock to High Performance

  • Power Levels: Available in pre-built 500 HP and 800 HP kits, but in reality, the system’s capability is only limited by your supporting hardware (injectors, throttle body, and fuel system). The ECU itself is compatible with injectors up to 500 lb/hr, and scalable for boost up to 315 kPa, giving you headroom for serious horsepower builds. Truly, a system for the people.
  • Self-Learning: Stock-most mild street builds benefit from the self-learning ECU; more aggressive setups can be manually tuned using our free laptop software.
  • Injector Options: Choose between EV1 or EV6 injector harnesses to match your fuel injectors. (Top End & Master Kits come with EV1 by default)
  • Throttle Body Choices: When buying a Top End or Master Kit:
    • 4-barrel throttle body with 1.0 BAR MAP Sensor
    • Single-blade throttle with 2.7 BAR MAP Sensor
  • Dual Wideband O₂ Sensors: Maintain balanced fueling across both banks (both of which are 31x31) for ultimate precision and safety.

After a few drives, your tune dials itself in, and when you’re satisfied, you can disable learning and lock it down.

Ignition Compatibility

The Wild Card 2 is built around precise ignition control and requires a 7+1 Hall-effect distributor for sequential timing (available in Top End & Master Kits).
